Mama I missed the plane..

..argghhh…
I pretty much look like a zombie right now!
This morning I arrived at the airport with a delay of only 10min. which were enough to make me miss my flight.. can you believe it, just 10min?!
So now, here I am waiting for the next available flight of the 18:50..pfff.
Not only I had to spent the entire day in Milan but I also had to pay double ticket, which obviously cost double its initial value :( I booked my flight that early because I wanted to get some relax once at destination and as soon as I get there I will sleep as there is no tomorrow.
Anyway, since I like to keep it positive I figured out a great way to spent the day.. airport shopping!!

After all it was not that bad ;) Hope you had a wonderful Sunday!

Firenze

Hey sweets!
We are back in Milan after our weekend in Florence and I have been in a kind of a hibernation for the last 2 days..we mostly stayed in our hotel room since we’ve already visited the attraction of the centre so it was a great way to celebrate my birth day and get some relax in one of the most beautiful cities of Europe!
image
Firenze is so rich of history and offers an amount of things to do and visit, you could never get bored there.image
The Duomo Cathedral is breathtaking, you have to raise your eyes to the sky to admire its greatnes.imageimageimageimageimage
We were lucky to also catch a tuscan traditional performance in the main square..imageimage
If you ever visit Firenze make sure to act like a prop tourist and pay a visit to the famous “Ponte Vecchio” bridge..an ambitious attraction for gold diggers. This bridge is so unique, the small adorable houses that are builded on it have became jewellers stores and there is such a pedestrian traffic it’s impossible to pass buy..but the view from it totally worths the effort.imageimage
When I was a little, innocent kid I’ve always dreamed of visiting Florence, my grandpa’ was a huge admirer of Italy and he used to tell me stories about his Italian friends that taught him the italian language..so I have a special connection with this wonderful country and being able to live here and visit all these amazing cities is a dream!

                                        Love to all ♥

Florence!

Hello my dears,
Those of you who follow me on Instagram already know I took a train this afternoon!
I love traveling by train, it’s so romantic..after all I am quite a vintage soul.
…but let’s start from the beginning of this trip :)
Tommorow is an important day to me, it’s my Birthday(!) and my lovely husband decided to surprise me with a mini vacation. He told me to pack a few things and get ready for a long, romantic weekend.
We took the superfast train, FrecciaRossa from Milan and after only 2hours we arrived to destination where a driver with a really classy car was waiting for us!!!
So right now I am laying in one of the most comfy Hotel beds in one of most spectacular cities of the entire planet.. Florence! I love this city, so unique and rich of history and art.

When the doorknob of a Hotel room looks like this one the rest can only be better..
Oh, Lord this bed is really huge..and romantic.

I already organised our staff and now we are heading out for dinner.
I feel so blessed to be in such a beautiful place with the man I love the most, life is good.

Chat with you tomorrow, have a wonderful night.

Room Service..

Hey darlings, I am so tired right now, I just had dinner and I probably ordered way too much food! My husband had an important business dinner and I prefered to stay in and have room service instead. I feel so full right now..image I started with a Butternut squash & pumpkin seeds soup..deliciously warm!image ..had some spinach & ricotta tortellini with mozzarella and focaccia garlic bread..image Despite the fact I was really filed up, my poor tummy managed to find a tinny place for the wild berry trifle with brandy biscuit!!!image I surely overdid but it was impossible to resist ;)image Now all I want is to go sleep but I have to get ready since we are going out for a drink with friends later, pfff..!image This bed is calling my name, believe me!
