Le Mont Saint-Michel

Bònjour mon belles!

I had such a great time in Normandy (North of France)… so many beautiful places to visit with my adorable love! Here it is one of the most spectacular, Mont Saint-Michel.

The immense monastery proudly dominates this rocky tidal island. Since ancient time a strategic fortification point and a source of pride for its population.

  

 

We had a really long walk in the inside walls and admired the surrounds from the highest point of the monastery. The mount is submerged by the ocean every day and when the sea finally retires you can tread the sand and have a mud bath! One of the most picturesque view of my life!

 

This evocative gem is considered by many as one of the seven wonders of the world… it’s also part of the Unesco list of World Heritage Sites and I’m so thankful I had the opportunity to be there… once I’ll be an old lady I’ll surely have so many sweet memories of places like this one!
