The Atlantic Ocean
The second day of our vacation we visited St. Malò in Brittany… it was the first time I saw the Atlantic Ocean and I was so excited! It’s quite different from all the other beaches I saw… It was immense and breathtaking… I’m not sure I’ll ever be able to swim in such sea water though, too scary for me. The particularity of this beach is the high tide, which covers the sand for a few hours and then it retires, so you can find amounts of beautiful seashells.

I’m quite a lucky girl as we travel very often and I totally love to discover new places… but the best part of our trips are the hotel rooms (at least to me ;-)). This time I really felt in love with this one. It was a Chateau Hotel, which means it was a castel once and now a hotel!! How amazing is that?!
Our room was a two-storey - which means huge!! - and some meringues were waiting for me on the bed, how cute!

After a delicious homemade breakfast we took a walk around and got relaxed by the garden… the sun shined better than ever!
Later in the evening we had the most tasty (and $$$) oysters on the planet… such a peculiarity!! But, even better, was the Chef’s favorite, caramelized apple on a layer of passion fruit cream and vanilla ice-cream…

AH, LA VIE!!!!
