Yes I do, mon amour!
…After our lunch at “Les Ombres” we were back home to get some rest and get prepared for the night. My love reserved for our anniversary a private dining room at one of the most exclusive restaurant in Paris! Lapèrouse is the unique and most romantic place in the world… many classical artists and philosophers used to spent their time here.
We enjoyed our dinner in the Salon Des Anges, in total privacy (infact, you have to ring a little cute bell when you are ready, so classy!). The room was nicely decorated, paintings of angels on the walls and a chandelier with a sweet angel holding the lights. The atmosphere was so romantic… I have to tell you a little secret also. The gentlemen of the past used to take their ladies here and demonstrate their love by giving them a diamond! So, in the room you can find this legendary mirror full of scratches which proofs the originality of the diamond. Of course a lady has to check it first! ;)
We decided to let the famous Chef Christophe Guibert impress us and requested a personalized menu created totally by him. Our expectations were completely satisfied. All those creations were a miracle to me!
After our dessert we accommodated ourselves on the red velvet sofa (which is in the room) and got some relax on the notes of the opera singer Andrea Bocelli, while the Champagne was flowing in our mouths… at this point, my dear love had a surprise for me…
He got on his knees and in his shaking hands I saw a beautiful red and gold box!!!!!!
My heart was beating like drums… I was on heaven, full of angels…
He was so excited…

I can’t find the words to describe my feelings. I was so happy… he is the love of my life, I love him above everything. I want to spent my entire life by his side, until the very last breath.
His proposal couldn’t have been better. In Paris, in such an exclusive place… how romantic is that? Well, the Solitaire Cartier was the cherry on the top my dears! Obviously I had to try mine on the mirror… it felt sooo well!
What an unforgettable moment… ah, I’m sure it’s such a perfect story to tell (maybe to our children one day). We came back home and celebrated with some more bubbles (an exclusive bottle of Champagne, Cartier’s gift for us!) and a spectacular view on the Iron Lady. Love is in the air.. Cheers!
